What has Portland-based fashion designer Kate Towers been doing since moving on from Seaplane, the independent boutique she co-founded with Holly Stalder that played home base to Portland’s burgeoning fashion scene beginning in the late 90s? Her work is still available at Seaplane as well as on etsy, and we know she’s been focusing on family, but look at her new beautiful website, designed by Emily Bulfin of Laundry with home page illustrations by Towers herself. Love the Sauvie Island photos, which I think are by Peter VanBeever. Secret fact about Kate Towers…she’s an insanely good stylist…like magic.
